Chesapeake Hills features 6,545 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.3 and has a slope rating of 126. Designed by Jim Thompson, Chesapeake Hills opened in 1968.

RECENT COURSE IMPROVEMENTS
Chesapeake Hills is owned by the Calvert County Government and operated by the Department of Parks & Recreation. Chesapeake Hills Golf Course has recently completed several important course enhancements to improve playability and long-term turf health. A comprehensive greens drainage project was successfully completed in partnership with Growing Solutions, addressing drainage across all putting greens to improve consistency, turf conditions, and overall performance. In addition, we have reconstructed and improved tee boxes on holes #3, #4, #6, and #9, enhancing alignment, turf quality, and the overall golfer experience from the tee.

NEW CLUBHOUSE
The new Chesapeake Hills Golf Course Clubhouse opened its doors on March 12, 2024, offering golfers and guests an exciting new place to gather. This beautiful 8,150-square-foot clubhouse includes a Pro Shop, full-service bar and grill, banquet room, and patio—perfect for tournaments, celebrations, and community events. We look forward to hosting you!
